I normally get two cases a year and change it anywhere between four and five thousand miles. I use the OE and it was on my front porch when I got home around 5PM yesterday. That's one of the big advantages of using Amsoil. I don't buy it as often.
I buy a case probably once a year, and I get two oil changes out of that case. I only have to change my oil about every 7-8 months because of the extended drain intervals.
I run OE because you just can't convince me to keep any type of oil in a vehicle for more than 5,000 miles. I used to always change it at 3,000 when I used Valvoline.I run the XL series, and I change it about every 6,000-7500 miles. Sometimes the dash light will say to change it around 6k, and sometimes it has let it go to almost 8k miles. But I usually don't do over 7500 regardless. The OE is a bit cheaper, but the way I look at it as the XL is cheaper in the long run because I get more miles per oil change with the XL. I am running the OE in my wife's car though, because it's still under warranty and I still change the oil per Nissans recommended intervals.
