Alright, here's what I'm thinking.

I'm thinking about the wheel Dan posted, the Series 015 in 17x9 with a -5 offset. My current 20's are a 9-inch wheel with a +25 mm offset so this should scoot the wheel out 1.18 inches. The tires I am running now are 285's so the tire width should stay pretty close as well, given the new size will be 285/70/17. Right now, my current wheels sit pretty damn flush and I'll be adding flares, so this should line everything up perfectly again. And, they're only 25 lbs.

Am I missing anything here?

Here's a 305 on a 9" rim with -12 mm offset. My tires and offset will scoot me in a bit from this and with the flares, I think that one looks pretty good. A little too wide, but just barely. I think the 285 tire on a 9" -5 mm offset wheel should look great.

Here's where my current ones sit in relation to the lip.

That will be an awesome setup, especially with the flares!

What tires are you thinking? I may have missed it somewhere, but something fairly aggressive will look great on those wheels with the flares.

Think he is going with BFG At's.

That's the plan but I want to check out what they look like on a 9" wheel in 285/70. I'm open to others if the AT looks goofy.

Scott, Jim, others?

Does my math make sense? Do you think -5 is too much on a 9-incher?

Anyone? Anything?

This is perfection in my book. Textured black flares are a must if you are wanting to go with a more rugged look.

I don't think the white Tahoe can pull off the textured black with everything else PTM or chrome. I was going to go with PTM flares, the black and silver wheels and AT tires.

I think the black will be fine on the wheels with the silver lip, I just can't see the textured black flares working??? The silver should work with the chrome and the black with the windows and vent caps.

The running boards will likely get lost. Remember, I won't have all the Z71 cladding.
