It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
In all seriousness, I think the GMT-900 Burban would fit the bill. It'd have the space you're looking for. There's a lot of us on here with the 5.3L V8 that they have. Or the 6.2L if you can find one. I seriously considered getting one when I was looking for my truck, but wanted the truck.

North America manufactures are very competitive in the area of quality and warranties.
Seeing as Mom has a physical disability I agree as motioned earlier a DMax Van would probably serve you much better.

The diesel vans are great, I bought an '07 Dmax Savannah (new)with the Quigley 4x4 conversion for a service van when I was in Anchorage. They now have 100K on it, and it has served them well. Great little set-up

Those 4WD Quigley conversions are cool.

Well, we went car looking today. I think that Mark might go with the Nissan Armada. Really nice. And within the price range that we want to pay. Looked at the Expeditions, Yukons, Suburbans, and a few others. $63K for Burb, 59 for Expedition, 68 for Yukon, and 55 for the Armada. -15% for military and 6000k back for 0% plus 25K down would equal around 425 for 36 months. And it has towing and 4wd. Around 15 MPG. Next Saturday/Sunday Mark will decide which one he wants.

The Armada will get 12 or 13 mpg if you're easy on it.

I just haven't heard good things mpg-wise from Armadas and Titans.

Mom's 4x4 XTerra gets pretty good MPG and we had an '08 Frontier that we traded for the'70 Rover and it wasn't too bad on gas. The 2500 Burb 4x4 didn't get much better than the Nissan. And my truck only gets 8. So any improvement is good. :D

A 2500 4x4 'burb is so much more truck compared to an Armada.

Oh and 8 is fugging horrible. I get 10 towing 7500 pounds.
