Something with the relay harness. They wouldn't replace anything for me, and I was pissed that everytime I'd drive and hit a bump my lights would go out!

Which ones did you have? I have a buddy who bought his 10k's off of ebay and he's had zero problems with his.

the lights temp should make no difference, it is just the ballast or the relays in the ballast that would make a difference

I know I said this before and its your truck so you will do what you want but... stick with a quality bulb in the headlight and get offroad lights if you really want HIDs. You wont need HIDs in the city and you wont get a ticket if you use them on trails. Just my 2 cents. Seen way too many guys waste their hard earned money just to go back to stock lights.

I'm still in the browsing phase at this point. Instead of doing HID's, then switching back to halogens I'm goin to get halogens first, and if I don't like em then I'll go HID's. Like Che said, I don't wanna waste my money just to end up goin back to stock lights

I have a feeling I will become one of those guys but if I do I will modify them to work in my four wheeler.
