I did mine on my old 2000 Silverado. Guys this job is real easy!! The tip on the thottle body water line is awsome!!

The trick on the rubber plugs is actually called in a GM service order, it was given to my by a young kid as print out when I bought my knock sensors. As good as GM engineered this engine it's hard to belive that they missed sealing those things up!! Both of mine were in water just like the one shown.

I also replaced the harness on mine, the connections were trashed from being wet. I was lucky and found one on ebay for brand new for $15.00!! If your doing this job you may want to find a harness or at least get new connections for the sensors. Mine came apart when taking it apart.
