Ok...so as I type this, my blood pressure is probably around 220/160. While washing my baby, I noticed white paint on my fender flare. It looks like it can be removed.

Is there a mild solvent that I could use to assist me in removing the paint? I have experience removing paint like this before...but I only used a buffer and polish. It took forever.

Any ideas?

You can remove it with a short trip down to the local Ford dealership.

J/K- Rubbing compound and elbow grease is all I've ever used.

I've used some of that NuFinish and Restore stuff with pretty good results in getting scuffs and parking lot damage removed. I guess it has just enough abrasives in it to do the trick.

few companys now have a scratch remover, its essentially polish but with smooth pumice in it. it should be aggressive enough to get it off, yet not enough to leave permenant marks.

Well at least you have more paint than you would like... I noticed three new rock chips on the front of my truck yesterday. :fume:
