I lowered mine the same way in the front and I've had ZERO problems. I cut off just about as much as you did and mine till just barely touch, as I believe they are intended to. Maybe you could get a shot of them with the vehicle lowered back down and everything compressed?

I don't suspect any issues either but you never know. This isn't the correct way to lower a truck. The correct way involves going to the dealership and getting a 2WD in the first place. I mean who in their right mind would want to lower a 4WD truck.I'd suggest just driving it for a bit before ordering anything to see how it shakes out.
