Funny as that may be, that's gotta suck for everyone that worked so hard on that car. At the local drags this year there was a fully restored Olds 442 wheel stander that went right over the rail. I felt bad for the guy.

If the dumbass would have lifted instead of trying to be Superman on two wheels out the back door... none of this would have happened. Almost every crash I have ever seen on the strip was caused by driver stupidity. Very few are caused by mechanical failure.
