Got bored so I went for a drive, got a cup of coffee, and surveyed gas prices near the house. In a two mile radius we have about seven places to get gas and I checked five of those:

Wawa

• 87 @ 2.65.9
• 89 @ 2.81.9
• 93 @ 2.93.9

Valero

• 87 @ 2.63.9
• 89 @ 2.81.9
• 93 @ 2.93.9
• Diesel @ 2.89.9

7-11 (two stations)

• 87 @ 2.65.9
• 89 @ 2.81.9
• 93 @ 2.93.9
• Diesel @ 2.85.9

Giant Supermarket

• 87 @ 2.65.9 (w/card) 2.70.9 (without)
• 89 @ (not posted and the pumps were off)
• 93 @ 2.84.9 (w/card) 2.94.9 (without)

And, of course, the diesel price at 7-11 dropped a dime a gallon just two days after I filled both tanks when it was $2.95.9
That extra two bucks would have paid for my coffee... and a donut.

Arco is 2.99 and everything else is at least $3.10-$3.20

It got down to $2.49 a gallon, but it's on the rise again. We're at $2.65 now for 87.
