At my local 7-11 a few minutes ago when I filled up with diesel:

I've been knocked down drug out and left for dead
It kills me that a station at this end of town can charge $2.79 and you drive to the other end of town to a station that bares the same name, and they are at $2.69. 
They are about 4 miles apart.

It's about 30 to 45 miles here, depending on where you are.

That is small. Our metro area is about 3 million plus.

its supply and demand , a station right off a major intersection or on a better part of town will charge more
