I just saw a clip and story about the price of gas. I guess I should have copy/pasted it. The national average is supposed to be $3.86 from now through September. Last year, it was $2.70 a gallon.

No shit. I guess making billions per quarter isn't enough. :gunguy:

The govt. makes more in taxes on a gallon of gas than the oil companies do in profit.. And it's not the oil companies who run OPEC and decide "no, we're not going to increase production to keep prices down. We like prices right where they are.. or higher." :dunno:

Its totally stupid that they can price gouge us like this. It doesn't cost them NEARLY this much produce the gas.

It's easier for the public to just blame the oil companies than it is to dig and see what really drives gas prices.... so the oil companies are evil.
