Saw $4.37 after dinner last night

I usually go to the cheap no name gas stations, where I live, but when I'm in a more affluent area and see this one particular Exxon charging $1 more, you read it right, $1 more for the same grade gas as Shell 1/2 mile down the street I have to laugh and think to myself, how could they sell any gas? Are people that loyal to specific gas brands? I haven't been near there lately but I bet super is already $5 there.
