Its a fucTMCTMCTMCTMC BRONCO! not a Jeep!
Alright guys, I'm looking at trying to sell my truck too. Just decided that it would be better for me to get a better MPG car with all the miles I will be driving during college.
Here's the details on my truck
2004 f150 fx4 package
115k miles
original tranny and engine
runs strong and can throw you into the seat if you step on it.
the only mods I have done to it are basic ones
2" level
sprayed in bedliner
brush guard
tires and breaks are at 80%
and debating whether or not to include the edge evolution.
I'm asking $11,900 because I was counting on low ballers trying to offer me 10,500 or something like that. Really I would just like to get 10,900 in the end if at all possible.
It's currently listed as $11,200.
Since I'm shooting straight I'll tell you what preventative maintenance has been done and the two things that need to be done to make it a perfectly running vehicle (plus whats working great compared to other f150s of the same year range)
Has been done:
Spark plug change (PITA with these trucks)
IWE solenoid Replacement
Sealed the notoriously leaking 3rd brake light
cleaned tb
replaced rear diff fluid
all per owners' manual instructions
What it needs.
Lower ball joint on drivers side
plastic clip on one of the plugs in the fuse box to hold it in better. The plug itself stays in fine but if you go offroading it will jiggle out and you have to push it back in.
Cam Phasers are perfect on this truck- Ford mechanic said I had the best running/sounding 04 f150 he had ever seen. no cam phaser tick.
So be straight with me. $11,200 reasonable or not?
oh and if anyone knows anyone looking for a truck that is in great condition except for the two things (very easy to fix) I mentioned I am willing to travel to sell.
here's the truck as it is now

I guess it's a reasonable price. There is 15+ year old stuff around here going for $4K.
