Pretty slick video! I'm looking at possibly getting Jeep Grand Cherokee pretty soon with the Quadra Trac II system and it seems fairly capable (more capable than I'll probably ever use). Don't want the Quadra Drive II because the air lift suspension is a huge turn-off for me. Been tried for years but the reliability has never been there. Also can do with out the actual limited slip diff since the ABS controller has been determined to be a pretty capable limited slip itself. Using the brakes as a limited slip substitute (no substitute for good ol' lockers) is currently being done by most manufactures and not just Jeep though.

The 2011 Grand Cherokee has air suspension with the QD-II? You sure that's not a separate option?

And the QT-II is very capable too. There was a video i found on youtube... although it wasn't as extreme as the one I posted here, the jeep made it up one hell of an obstacle.

Difference between the two is that the QT-II struggles a little bit because it's limited by the amount of torque that can be transferred via applying brake pressure. But if you're not rock crawling, it's not that big of a deal. I'd buy a QT-II equipped Jeep in a second if there was a deal on one.

Yeah, the QDII on the 2011 GC is the QTII TC with QL and rear ELSD.

I take that back...seems you can get Quadra Lift on a new GC without Quadra Drive II but then it's just Quadra Trac II with a limited slip in the rear.
