Pretty interesting story. Too many electrical doodads on modern vehicles

TX, where else should I be?
That or they are a bunch of broke arse scientists who don't have enough of a budget to replace their vehicles.

Heck, I could find all kinds of BS reasons why we still have a toyota tundra with every trouble light on the dash permanently lit and a permanent pulley squeal that won't go away. Gotta hand it to them, those toyota engineers built one heck of a truck if it could be swamped during a flash flood in west texas and make the 300+ mile trip home with nothing more than a cylinder head swap and (I'm assuming) a fluid change.

All that concern regarding electromagnetic interferences is the reason why military fleets are still allowed to use non-electronic engines. Anyway, some nice old rigs

That's the first type of vehicle that I would steal in a Zombie Apocalypse or similar scenario. :D
Hope it's one of those old-school shuffling zombies, because you'll never outrun one of those new fangled "28 days later" brain-eaters in one of those tanks.:p
