none... i was putting in my old stuff.. just wanted a little bump for a while.. now im over the idea. hahaha.

Is Brian SKEERED now?

yep. hahahahahah

The newer vehicles that use a LAN... are really touchy about hooking stuff up and especially if there is "EVER" any kind of an arc when putting wires in.

I see that all the time on the Caddy boards.
It scrambles the computers and stuff goes crazy...

I agree... but think about it for a minute...There was an ELECTRIC ARC to the hot side of the battery.
"THAT'S" what caused all the trouble.

If you were building a new computer...had the power supply already plugged in and turned on and still installing parts to it...
What would happen if you plugged in something the wrong way and caused an arc on the motherboard?
More than likely you would be buying some more new parts to replace the ones you just fried... :)

The newer a vehicle is... the more it depends on computer control.
Without the DATABUS and computers...the dang shocks on my car wouldn't even work... :rollin:
(It has the computer controlled MRC suspension)

I still agree that it is stupid.. but that is the way it is with the newer vehicles...:( :(
