Yeah, I wish it had some interior shots though.
If I get a car I want it to be fully loaded, and I would prefer leather seats. I don't know to many Honda's that have leather though. If I get a car, I will be holding onto it awhile so I want it to be something I want and enjoy driving.

On an older car... the more it is LOADED UP... the more things that can go wrong with it.

Since you claim to want to get out of debt...why not buy something that is more BASIC, gets good mileage and will/should, run a long time.

So what, if it is a little boring and is not quite the most "ABSOLUTELY PERFECT...MOST LOADED OUT.... THE CAR I HAVE ALWAYS DREAMED ABOUT" car on the planet.

Sometimes you just can't have your cake and eat it too, all at the same time.
Time goes by, one day after the other....
Getting out of debt goes the same way.... one day after the other...

Believe me... I know... I have been there.
In the past....I have made about every stupid mistake there is to make about managing money...

For now....Get the bills paid and then when you are debt free...and after saving for a little while.. you can go and buy any dang thing you want... PAY CASH FOR IT and drive it home.

Oh.. by the way... they also run a lot better when they are not carrying around a payment book...
All good advice Jim. This is what I needed, someone to just lay it out to me. Especially from you seasoned vets.

I'm about as seasoned as they come... won't long till I am 70... :ohnoes:
Just getting broke in.

.... that's what I keep telling myself...

I have this nagging sense of deja vu. Didn't you go through this before the Dodge?

Yes I did. But honestly this time I really have to and want to do it. I was in love with my Ford and it hurt to get rid of it. I could care less about my Dodge, I honestly don't like it. I am at the point where I have realized now that it isn't always about how fancy your car is if you can't afford to keep your family above ground. Family comes first, and it's time to make the change and get us back on track.

With that sort of mentality, you'll be seeing improvements in no time!

New cars never stay new. They all get old. Remember that.

I told my wife when we started talking about me doing this that she might have to remind me from time to time though.
