So I sold my f-150 awhile back and I think I made a thread on here showing my stock f-250 when I got it.
well, it's been through a lot of changes since then. first I put a 4.5 inch lift on it with 35x13 nitto trail grapplers and 22x11 xd diesels. after that I tuned and deleted it.
here's what it looked like then
I loved the way it looked at first, but I get bored quickly. I put in a 20 inch rigid light bar in the bumper and, I wrapped the grill surround and bumper with black metallic vinyl. I also got some recon headlights, but now I have my stock ones apart doing a retrofit with real projectors.
At about 11k miles the transmission burnt up in my truck. the dealerships I went to wouldn't touch it because of the programmer and deletes. I took it to KEM, which im lucky to have local to me, just to let them fix it, and he said he could get it covered under warranty at his dealership. so after about 3 months I finally got my truck back with some race tunes from KEM.
heres a picture I took the day I got it back.
so I got kind of bored with this look. since I had so much black now I felt the solid chrome wheels were out of place. I wanted some black wheels with a little chrome.
at about this time the rockstar 2's had just came out. I ordered the 24x12's with 37x13.5x24 SS m16's and gave them to my buddy to paint tuxedo black. I've got the insert pieces and im going to send them off to get chromed, but I think they look pretty good just all black too.
here are a couple pictures of that and that's where I am today. my headlights are apart, and I'm waiting for the parts to do a retrofit. they'll look a lot better than the recons
I know a lot of people don't like the big wheel on lifted truck look, but I think it looks good. What do yall think?
