Just thought I would share my new Mag-Hytec diff cover that came in the mail today. Going to have it on hopefully in a few days. Pretty heavy and it sure feels like a high quality piece. Sure have dumped a lot of cash into the truck lately. Oh well! :tmc:

Not yet, took it to a shop and had the vitals read. Turns out there was a misfire on bank 2 so one of my plugs is bad, probably because I never regapped them and they were sitting at the factory .060 even after it went forced induction. :D Whoops. Going to change them out tomorrow and hopefully that fixes it. They also said the intake air sensor was reading way off so something is wrong there, he said it was reading like 200 degrees when it should be around 50 or something. But fuel trims and maf reading etc all look good he said, and probably better when I get the plugs taken care of. Picked up some basic double platinums today and brought them down to .035 so we'll see.

Sweet cover! I Love the dipstick / drain idea. Too bad they don't use that little high tech idea on all rear ends.

Its also already got a threaded 1/8" Npt port for a temp gauge. I was thinking about getting one but Im not sure where I would mount it since I already have 3 on the pillar. I wanted one of the pods thats molded into the steering wheel column cover but I can't find any made for the older C/K trucks like mine, only new body styles. But yeah I didn't even know it came with a dipstick, just thought the npt port and magnetic drain plug.
