Is this similar size to my Ford Exploder?

I am still trying to decide if I want to keep my Ford exploder and buy a Jetta. Or sell my Ford for another mid-size SUV. I am leaning more and more towards Chevy's or GMC's.

Yep, it is. As I have said many times, I love that new Explorer.

Jen, it came down to the those 2 when we made our choice, and the Explorer feels much more like a real SUV when you drive it, as it sits higher. When it came down to buying, the GMC dealer actually made us a great deal, and we preferred the interior of the GM. It really was a tough choice.

I like sitting up higher in my vehicles. I am not to sure I want to stick with the new Ford Exploder. I am a ways off before I make the purchase as there are other things I am saving up for. Plus I have a list of things that I want in my new vehicle(s).

Headed out for Spokane yesterday, in the middle of an ice storm. Although I had to turn back after 150 miles because it was just taking too damned long, I got a good feel for how this thing does in the snow and ice. It was great! I didn't think anything would feel as planted as the old Tahoe. We had nicknamed it the Snow Beast, as most of its life was lived up in AK, and we drove it through some of the gnarliest winter weather this continent has to offer. Anyhow, the little GMC with AWD and Michelin street tires was just unstoppable! This is what I90 looked like yesterday. Shot this one right before I stopped to check on them, it's a Tahoe:

28 and raining, everything coated in ice
