Tomorrow(working today) I'll ride my XR over to his place then work on it there.Mine runs when I hammer the throttle it just won't idle....gotta be in the carb

Maybe plugged jet.

Yeah,I'm thinking pilot jet.I'll find out tomorrow..

Last week I removed the pilot screw,shot some carb cleaner in the hole,blew it out with compressed air.Re-installed the screw and it fired up and idled nicely Job done
My old xr350 had a fuel leak,one of the carbs had a bad overflow issue.I figured it was a float adjustment.Took 'em off the bike,removed the float bowls and right away I saw,when pushing up on the floats,that one went way to high up into the carb base.I bent the tang to where it looked good,re-assembled the carb,re-installed it and third kick it fired up and ran great.Carb probs.....what a pain

So now I wanted to make that old Honda look better....scraped of all the old oxydation buffed the tank,painted the fenders & side covers.Picked some new grips and ordered new fork boots(get 'em tomorrow).I still to get some stickers or decals and re-do the seat....
