I couldn't find my filter for my SS last night at fleet & Farm. I should re-phrase that...they had it in stock in FRAM just not purolator. I'm like really, that is interesting FRAM must be paying them more to hog shelf space because frams took up 4X the shelf space than purolator. Piss me off.

I think most people just go in and grab a filter that fits and that's all she wrote. Also from a moving product point of view a lot of people use fram so maybe they are thinking the can sell more filters if they have a large variety of Frams.
It is all marketing. Fram puts a ton of money into it and you can see how much the big orange fills up the shelf's at most retailers. Advance Auto here has a ton of Purolators did you try there instead of Fleet and Farm?

Yeah, I went to an auto parts store. Bought the oil at Fleet & Farm 6qts mobile 1 full syn for 28 bucks.
Wow, $4.66qt for Mobil 1. That is great. No great deals like that here, more like $6.82qt at best. I would stock up at that price.

Yeah they have good deals on the cases. You almost have to with the individual quart costs.
