What options are there for a guy who wants to replace the shitty fake wood grain looking interior dash and console panels in a GMT900?

I don't want anything that it not an actual replacement. No vinyl overlays, etc., only parts.

I remember a couple of guys over on GMT painting their trim. I think the OEM trim looked better than their results personally... especially in a beige / tan interior vehicle.

This is the light/dark titanium interior. I don't think paint would look good either and I'm worried the brushed aluminum option may clash with the "titanium" color.

Brian, I meant GMT900; I'm very close to closing a deal on a newer Tahoe.

The original looks best

Maybe by default only. :puke:

They should have at least offered a fake black wood grain or something for the gray interiors.

You would think one of the Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon variants would have another color available in the trim department. I bet they do... but they are probably priced like they are made of unobtainium.

Tobias, I am only talking about what is currently available, and what is offered in the aftermarket.

We can get into what should have been offered, but I don't want to waste your time. :D2

I have looked at all aftermarket solutions, because I would like mine to be a little different, too, but they all look like shit.

Nice!

Yeah I honestly think your best option has nothing to do with replacement parts. Unfortunately.

You could try the denali wood...its a little darker. Its a big reason i went with the all terrain package for the brushed alluminum.
