Which is a better brand?

I am looking into leasing one in the next year. I'm looking for an SUV about the same size as my Ford Explorer. My exploder has been good to me all these years but I want to buy a different brand.

For the Chevy's I was looking at the Transverse or EQUINOX

For the GMC the choices are :TERRAIN or ACADIA MID-SIZE SUV

I wish I could buy it all out but I can't afford that right now. So that means I will be trading in my exploder and paying the rest by way of leasing it.

I know I need to goto one of the dealerships that sell these so I can try them out. I may need to bring my mom with me or maybe my dad.

I wish I had an older brother to help me deal with this the dealers who sell cars. They are so pushy sometimes. :fume::lol:

GMC is generally more upscaled across the lineup, but they are essentially the same, especially with the High Country trim being added to the Silverado. Pick whichever looks the best to you and is optioned the way you want it.

They (Traverse/Acadia and Equinox/Terrain) are essentially the same vehicles coming off the same assembly lines. So, like T said, go with the one you like the best, optioned the way you want it, at a payment you can live with.

I usually spend a fair amount of time looking at the trim levels, options, etc. and decide pretty much what I want before I go looking. That tends to cut down on getting up-sold to a higher trim / price than you're expecting.

Good luck!

I was looking at all the options online. I kind of like GMC better at least the style. I guess it is time for me to go check them out in person.

Like said above. Pretty much identical vehicles except for exterior looks. Pick the one you like better or which has better incentives at the time.

We went with the Acadia just for the looks. I usually always get a Chevy, but the Acadia looks better than the Traverse. Equipment and trim are the same

I'd shop all of the brands, there are far more options than just Ford and Chevy/GMC.
