I understand not wanting to step down in size.

I love the new ML. The 2011 and older models interior just did not do anything for me. The 2012+ ML bluetech is what I would love to be driving.

I don't know how big it is, I have only seen pictures but Infiniti just released a new JX. Being used to German autos I don't know if you could go Japan?

Mercedes has really gotten their shizzle together in the styling department again. They were seriously slipping in the 90s and 2000s. I really like the look of their new stuff.

Hahahaha.....we have a Mercedes parts line at my work... And sooo many of the customers are ignorant and cry babies.... Lol

Alljackedup Samsung

I can see that. Well I could see that with most of the luxury brand clients.

Yeah.. 90% of them just call for chrome stick ons... and get angry with my sales reps because they cant find what the customer wants.. and the customer doesnt even know what he needs... it's flat out annoying hahaha...

But congrats on the new ride.. they are solid vehicles and last forever taken care of.... I have rode in a newer GLK as well.. and was impressed with the ride.

Agreed on the older MB. I'm definitely going to give the ML a look. I'll have to drive the gas and bluetech to compare the two but I'm leaning towards gas this time around (the X5 in the sig pic is a diesel).

I've seen pictures of the JX you mentioned. It doesn't look bad. You are correct though...I don't have any desire to go back to Japanese. German's have the total driving experience figured out. Something that bugs the hell out of me is that I see too many similarities in the Acura/Lexus/Infiniti cars with their Honda/Toyota/Nissan counterparts that I personally don't consider them "luxury" cars. Acura's new designs are flat out ugly, Infiniti's are not nearly as refined as they should be, and Lexus...well, I won't get started. :D

I appreciate the feedback on your GLK. You have me more excited about looking at the ML. I'll report back after I drive one in a few months. Going to wait until after we move into the house and get settled in a bit.

Just get a Grand Cherokee...it's cousins to the ML (same platform and V6 architecture). :jester:

Lol I am thankful that the Nox appears to be twice as roomier than that of this while also being luxurious for a GM.

Glad that you guys are shorter and are liking it... I would need a mercedes like the size of a suburban to sit in... haha

I wouldn't lump Infiniti in with that group. They're cars drive extremely well much closer to their German counterparts than Lexus and Acura.

The G is probably the closest in Infiniti's lineup to rivaling the German cars. Its a great driver's car...but very crude and unrefined IMO. They do drive nice and are pretty quick but I can't get past its rough edges. I like their styling though.

It's all personal preference. Everybody likes something different. :dunno:
