I am betting they show up, eventually. I wish on the V8, but it is not likely.

Maybe a twin-turbo V8 would be more prone to be featured in the next Corvette

They tried to do that with the ZR1 and the prototype burned to the ground. I don't know how it burned up or why they didn't just fix the problem but I'm guessing they wanted a known reliable FI method.

I also don't know how it burned, but certainly it served for the GM engineers to learn more about the safety issues while working with atwin-turbo. They probably went with a blower because it would be faster and cheaper than spending more time with R&D required to overcome the fire issue, altough it wouldn't prevent the availability of a twin-turbo setup in the next Corvette, with all the required safety measures taken.

I'd actually wanna see if the Vortec 4300 V6 will be phased out and replaced with a V6 version of this upcoming Gen V. Even retaining the OHV layout, which I actually like due to the compact heads design it leads to, it would be a good opposition to the Ecoboost
