so I noticed on my 95 gmc that one of the injectors has fuel pooling up on top of the passenger side fuel injector in my tbi. did something go bad in my tbi or did my injector crack its case or is my now stuck all the way open thermostat making the computer force too much fuel to the injectors?

I have seen the TBIs crack the manifold and TB itself. There is a possibility the injector is just stuck on too. Check for vacuum leaks and pull the injector and see if its dirty. You can try running some cleaner in the fuel or have them cleaned. Worst case replace them.

Reverse the connectors on the injectors to see if the puddling follows,if it does the injector is probably OK and you have a problem elsewhere.

well I think I figured out the puddle was from the injector clip being loose because after I moved the wires where they stopped moving the clip up the truck ran fine. till the engine warmed up then it ran like crap again.

After warming up does it run bad at idle, when driving or all the time?

Earlier you mentioned a stuck(open) thermostat, you should replace it.The ECM expects to see 195* operating temp and sends signals to the injectors based on the info from the CTS & the O2 sensor(s).The O2 sensor needs to reach a certain temp before the ECM can use it.If your truck is running too cool the O2 sensor might never reach that temp.

John is right, the O2 sensor could be bad.

Did you switch the connectors to see if the puddling followed? You mentioned wiggling them but not actually switching them.

well it starts running bad after the temp gauge hits 150 or so. the rpms are all over the place afterwards. usually at 1500 at 30mph used to be around 1200. stopped the idle jumps around from 600-800 sometimes dipping to 500. I did put a new map sensor and then all this started happening afterwards. is there something I need to do when putting new electronics on the truck?
