I am still getting 18-22 even after the Bfg's....

Man winter really makes a difference.

In the summer...100% city driving, I get about 15MPG...20-22 on the highway.

Now, I get about 18 on the highway and 12 in the city.

When's the last time you filled-up, October..?

Maybe November.

I figured it was a while back, no more often than you drive yours..

Cold air is also more dense...thus requiring more fuel to get the correct air/fuel ratio.

As a result, engines put out more power in the cold.

I have a 2000 Chevy with the 6.0L fuel hog. What have you other GM guys found to actually make a difference in your milage?

From my parents door in Ardmore, OK to mine in Ft. Worth I got 17.5mpg (85% highway at 77mph). I am pretty happy with that for winter and that speed. Plus, I had my AFM turned off a couple months ago.

I would imagine idling for warm-up would have an effect, too..
