The last several months of fill-ups on the car have mostly been around 21.6/21.7 with one tank a little over 22. The car gets driven harder than the truck, though.

I have been driving the Acadia hard. In the Performance AWD mode, it really handles well, I am shocked. Granted, I have been in full size GMs (mostly 2500s) for far too long

Yeah, going from the truck to the car is like getting in a go-kart in a lot of ways. Not just size, but handling, etc. I keep thinking about getting rid of it. But, every time I drive it, it puts a big smile on my face.

I got the best mileage I've ever had from a truck on my last tank of gas...16.2mpg.
Granted that was all highway back and forth to work averaging anywhere from 60 to 75 mph.

Of the last 6 tanks on the truck, I've been flip-flopping between 17.5 and 18.2/18.3. I think the difference is how much I'm remote starting it (and for how long) when it's over 100 outside when I leave work.

My truck is finally "broke in" and I am getting 18 mixed driving, even with A/C blasting. My last trip to Northern Idaho, at 65-70 netted 20.5. If I am able to keep it at 60 she gets 22.


The little Acadia is a rockstar. Lifetime average is 19.6., but this summer she has been getting an average of 20.5 mixed driving.

Been averaging around 15.4 a tank.

I average 26-28.5 with the Jeep...depends on how much highway I have.
