I haven't had to fill up since I got back from CO.. :dunno: :jester:

It costs me at least $100 a week in fuel. :ohnoes: Sometimes, depending on where I'm working, I only get three days out of a tank of gas.

I figured I'd get the ol' :pfingers: from you..

Looking at the spreadsheet I've been using to track mileage, it looks like I usually fill up about every 2 wks.. There are a couple of tanks that I've gone over a month.. I know that'll change (and change quickly) if I have to go back to the office or find another job.. So, I'm trying to enjoy it while I can..

Just towed a 68 Camaro on a U-Haul car hauler for 250 miles. Truck bed had another subframe and two complete small blocks in it. Car was complete ruuning driving car. Average on the dic showed 16.5 MPG for the trip. 2009 Silverado extra cab 5.3, tow package and 3:42 gears.

I think it did pretty well for towing.....no complaints. This was the first time I have towed for any kid of distance with some wieght.

I haven't topped off since I got back from the trip. So, I'm not sure about that last stint (I'm pretty sure it wasn't great.. I shaved nearly 45 minutes off of my usual drive time from Amarillo to Fort Worth).. But, overall.. From here to Wyoming and back to my most recent fill-up, which was in Wichita Falls.. 3152 miles using 121.371 gallons with an average MPG of 25.97.

The highest MPG tank appears to be 28.92, on that last day in Colorado. The lowest that I have #'s for was from Fort Worth to Wichita, KS.. averaging just shy of 79 MPH, including a couple of "of, what's that?" off-highway diversions.. 23.81 MPG.

Last tank was 11.8 mpg. I could easily get 15-16 if there was no ethanol in the gasoline. :fume:
