Recently my passenger seat will not pull all the way forward. If I use the handle in the front of the seat or the side lever to flip it forward and move it forward they both do not pull it forward all the way. It is like they hit a stop or something. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts how to fix this if they know what srings attach where and so forth and so on. I will remove the seat this weekend and take pics. Thanks for any advise!

Sorry it is a 1992 GMC Yukon GT 4x4 5.7L TBI Two door bucket seats. Front is motorized and passenger is not. Anything else that will help describe my truck?

I bet something has wedged in the seat track. I've seen change work its way into them before.

That would be the first thing to check. You might have to pull the four bolts and pop the seat out to see it.

I pulled the actual right track off it is the one that seems to have the issue and detached from the seat it still hits a stop. No coins from what I can see.

Congrats, I had no suggestions on it before. That's just one of those things I would have to put my hands on to figure out.

AW, now that there is no over the shoulder lookers. I took a big brass punch (that may have been to big in diameter) and stuck that some of a beach down the track itself and broke free the rollers or something. This pic is not the best but the rail on the right the part that is not pictured but down the middle of the rail, the rollers seemed to be jammed. NOT any more:eek::D2. The part about the to big of diameter is I think I changed the tolerances and that is what freed up the rollers.:applause:
