Yes there is a strip of reflective tape across the flat spot behind the bumper.I have red to replace the small white rectangles but haven't installed it yet. On a red truck, it is invisible until light hits it at night (once I install the red that is).

The birdshit / bottle cap is actually a clip from the old bezel.

If you saw how pathetic the drivers are here, you'd want the tailgate covered in that shit. The WORST ones are 16-20 year old girls with cell phones plastered to their heads. They drive up your ass like idiots. There are about 3 million other idiots here in this area too... It's fun.

But... it's really there for the times the truck is parked streetside somewhere.
