Forgeline’s GA3R forged racing wheels made their debut in mid-August, featuring I-beam spokes, hidden titanium assembly hardware, and an enlarged, open center area for quick and easy lug nut access. Lighter and stronger than any wheel Forgeline had produced before, it was an instant hit. One problem though – At the initial launch, the GA3R was only available in 18 and 19 inch diameters. That made it a non-starter for Camaros with big brakes.

Good news is at hand though; per Forgeline’s David Schardt, new forgings for 20 inch wheels have just arrived in their warehouse, and by the end of January, finished wheels will be ready to ship. “On the Camaro forums we have had a lot of inquires about 20-inch GA3R’s,” says Schardt. “Currently there are no “true” race wheels available in 20 inch diameter and we believe we will have the first ones. Both the Camaro and the Nissan GTR come with 20 inch wheels from the factory, and we will be able to give them a factory diameter race wheel to use at the track.”

Available sizes will include 9, 9.5, 10, and 10.5 inch widths for the front, and 10, 10.5, 11, and 11.5 inch widths for the back. Schardt says that these new 20 inch GA3R wheels will clear virtually any aftermarket brake package.
