Ford had 116 complaints per 100 vehicles during the first three months of ownership, while Toyota saw just 101. Lexus led the list with 73 complaints, while Honda (86), Acura (89), Mercedes-Benz (94) and Mazda (100) rounded out the top five. At the opposite end of the spectrum, MINI and Volkswagen (131), Mitsubishi (133), Suzuki (136) and Dodge (137) had the most complaints. General Motors was the only Detroit automaker two have brands post below-average (in this case, that’s a good thing) scores – Cadillac (103) and GMC (104).

Even Ford’s traditionally above-average Lincoln brand couldn’t sneak below average. Owners registered 111 complaints on average.

You betcha
"J.D. Power blamed Ford’s complex MyTouch infotainment systems and the automaker’s often-peculiar transmission shift patterns, which are designed to save fuel, for the dramatic rise in consumer complaints."

I guess I could see that.

I like features but it seems that Ford is trying to stay on top of all the other auto makes with electronic features. Some of the things that they have out now do not even interest me or make me wish a Chevy had those features.

But the more you have the more that can go wrong.

TX, where else should I be?
Electronics are dumb, what happened to the good 'ol days where a screwdriver could do just about anything?

*clicks button on remote, engine revs up with custom performance tune loaded on PCM, lights come on, stereo clicks on, subs and aux amp follow, clicks another button and everything turns off*

People are frikkin idiots. Cars are 100 times more reliable now than they have ever been yet they complain if their SYNC doesn't work flawlessly or their Bluetooth glitches and doesn't connect fast enough...

Then so called "reliability surveys" come along and rate the vehicles based on these idiots?

No thanks.

Like we've said before boss, people are idiots! I bet most of those complaints are user error.

It never ceases to amaze me how many "bad reviews" for products are based on the operator not knowing how to use the product. Sadly those idiots have as much influence on the product rating as people who know what they are talking about.

AH, the age of the internet... where every moron has a keyboard and thinks they are an expert.
