For me, getting a new truck is just not possible. They cost almost as much as a house now at days. If yo get a really nice one it costs more than a nice house. So adding to the costs makes it worse. I just do not see how they can sell so many new trucks with what they cost today.

Weight doesn't affect the fuel mileage near as much at highway speeds.
The lighter truck will see a bigger improvement in the city, but not so much on the highway...

Still cool, either way... Though, no more magnetic signs or antennae...

I wonder how much more the truck will cost now. Aluminum is much more costly not only to buy but to work with.

That was my first thought. Around here you're lucky to find an empty lot for $40k.

There's .64 acre lots going for 178,900 right now :lol:
