Well... neither is a Subaru.

and you're still here. :)

I'm not trying to call it a "truck," either... and some joker said I could stay, even with the Subie...
I suspect you could stay with a Ridgeline too... but this group would very likely wear you out over it!

Uh huh..... If I wanted a Ridgeline...

Actually, if J-man doesn't need a "big" truck, maybe a look at the Tacoma might be worth considering.. The 4.0L V6 is rated at 21 on the road.. :dunno:

Tacoma is a well built truck. So is the Frontier. Neither one gets any better mileage than a full sized truck though in the real world... and they are darn near just as expensive as their bigger cousins. I even like the Ranger with the bulletproof 4.0 but 17 mpg is about all you can get highway according to the guys on my Explorer/Ranger forums.

Yeah, I drove a Frontier (and Xterra and Pathfinder) before I bought the Sierra... I wasn't impressed with any of the three of 'em.. and the Titan got such awful mileage, I didn't even drive one of them... :dunno:

The thing that first got me looking at the Tacoma (tonight) was the 25 mpg listed..... and then I realized that was the 4-banger.. I doubted he'd step down THAT much..

OUCH! A 4 banger in a New Tacoma would be a slug. It might have been cool in the older smaller models.

Yeah, that would be awful... 100 hp less than my car. I don't think the 400 lbs less weight for the Tacoma would offset that, though..
