I am in the process of getting my midtravel suspension setup for my truck, I have the fully fabricated spindles however I do not have my stock spindles to press out the snout and put into the new ones. I would prefer not to buy used ones from another truck (because I dont know if they were abused). Does anyone know where I could purchase new spindle snouts?

I have contacted: doetsch, rough country, Kartek with no success, I have PM'd 1Atony and rockauto..

I dont think the 2wd had a hub....it was a snount pressed into the spindle

its the piece that has the orange cover on it. On that is where the brake rotor with wheel studs/ABS rotor and ball bearings ride on.

this is kindof what it would look like, just a little bit different

After reading your OP I went searching, found a couple of desert racing forums and they suggest that OEM snouts are stronger than after market.Maybe go to a dealer and check on the cost of new ones :dunno:

^I would have to buy all new spindles...for L and R it would have been around 600( with an employee discount from a friend). LMC also has em but a little more.
