Fixing OBD-II Codes

Generally with the random multiple misfire code, it's not one cylinder that's misfiring.

thats what i'm gathering from youtube and google. goin to change out plugs and wires, see if theres a change, if not.....change headers/y-pipe and....if still no change, then to a shop it'll go

I'd change that o2 sensor before the headers and y-pipe....

Sounds like you could have a vacuum leak.
That will cause O2 errors and will also cause random misfires...
Might be worth checking all the hoses and connectors...

gotta change the headers and y-pipe regadless due to relocation very soon. so hoping that can fix some of the problem

any tips on how to check this at home? special tool at checkers i could pick up on the relative inexpensive?

Check to make sure your intake is torqued to the proper specs.
You can also spray a little brake clean around the gaskets on the intake to check for vacuum leak.
If the idle changes "ANY AT ALL" when you spray it... you have a leak.
Check all connections of all of the little rubber hoses at the intake and at all the various junctions under the hood and on the firewall.
Make sure everything is connected good and none of the little rubber hoses have got pulled loose or burned by the exhaust.
Also don't forget to check the hose going to your power brake booster...
