i know, must be he is getting slow in his "prime" lol. i would think the "jolting" factor would be minimal in the difference between the 2. i mean i do hammer on it, and with some go fast goodies i dont forsee a problem. id love to offroad it but theres no place here to do it, just a park down in PA near scranton.

forgot to add these pictures of my havoc ive been trying to figure out how to work around. i want more lift in the front end so im not really sure what to do. new UCA's and/or larger spindles? just cut the bumpstops?:suicide:

dude...you have no idea. i think im gona have to put the undercoating protection stuff first on my to do list if i want this to last. probably pay a shop to do it, i dont think i wanna get that involved since i wouldnt really know what im doing or what to use.

yea it does suck, makes the whole truck look like poo if you look underneath. worst comes to worst ill just paint the rear end when i change gears/gear cover next spring sometime.

That is one of the things I hate about my truck. Why the hell would GM put on some flaky wax crap and expect it to protect it from rust..... :crazy:

there was a thread somewhere on GMFS that some guy used a power washer and i think kerosene or alcohol to clean it all up and might of used rustoleum or something.

I wouldn't mind doing a frame restoration... I just don't have the space or tools. I think it would be pretty easy. Just lift off the cab and bed and go to town with some POR15 :thumbs:
