Well ive been chasing a stupid miss in my boat:uhoh: ... At idle and anything below 2000rpm It ran awful... Ive been troubleshooting it Since i bought the boat... Everyone that i asked about it said it was normal... Ive taken it to people and started it on a garden hose .. And they said it was normal... If you were in the boat and felt it take off you would think it wasnt normal... The boat always started easy .. And ran flawlessy above 2000rpm... Ive changed about everything i could do on my own without having to drop some serious cash...

Well i noticed 2 of the plugs were oil fouling.. .. Started reading up online and found There are some small vacumme type lines that come from each cylinder that pull unburnt oil from the top of the cylinders... Ordered some Tygon hose from grainger(I had never heard of that stuff intill now)... Got it all finished friday night ... But i told myself theres no way them lines could cause that problem...

I had no faith this was the problems so i wasnt too anxious to get it on the water.. We loaded up friday night and went to my camp.. Saturday morning rolls around ..We launch the boat.. and idle around for a few hours ..It was raining like a mofo... and cold.. I had forgot all about the lines and didnt really notice any diff in idleing around... So i cross the lake.. and upon mashing the throttle and it nearly ripping us out of the seat:eek:.... Its fixed :wookie:

Just figured i let you guys know :loser:

Boats are fun, but can be a major pain in the ass. Glad you got it all fixed up.

Lol... I love my boat.. We've had a boat in my family since i was born... That bad thing about this was i wasnt sure if i had a problem... I didnt know anyone with another 150hp merc for me to ride in and its been way too long ago for me to remember .... I just had a feeling it wasnt supposed to do it.. Its Definatly ready for summer now..

On another note... I put 180 dollers worth of fuel in the truck and boat friday... And then 70 in the truck tonight on the way to work :uhoh:
