There's two types of people in this world, those who mock Miatas and those that have driven them. :D
Choosing the 2017 Motor Trend Best Driver's Car - Motor Trend

  • 9th Place: McLaren 570GT.
  • 10th Place: Mazda MX-5 Miata RF Club.
  • 11th Place: Nissan GT-R NISMO.
:pfingers: :jester:

I have a friend who has had MULTIPLE Miatas. But, everytime he gets in one of my cars that will RUN, he laments "daaaaamn, the horsepower/torque."

And he hasn't even ridden in the Camaro yet. :D2

The whole "it's more fun to go fast in a slow car" thing.. I call BULLSHIT on. It's an excuse because your car won't RUN fast. (IMO, but everyone likes their own thing. To each, their own.)

Around here, there's very few places you can RUN, so you take what you can get. :D The fact that it gets about 2x the mpg of my truck is the main reason I drive one.

Life is too short to drive boring cars

Agreed!

I was surprised to see almost 28 mpg out of the Camaro, cruising on the freeway at between 75 and 80 mph. Of course, mashing the go pedal a few times cut that down quite a bit.

I'm not sure yet. This one is annoying me more than the one in the truck. But, I'm going to give it a while before looking at tuning anything. I don't regret tuning the Denali, but I think I jumped in too quickly on some of the things I did to / with it.

Does the afm disable with other modes?

I just found out a couple days ago, if I stick the srt in sport mode (or race mode) it doesn’t go into 4 cylinder mode.

I read online that if you put the transmission in manual mode and downshift at least once, it would stay out of V4 mode. I experimented with that today and that did seem to work.
