What do you guys think would be a fair price for a set of 315/70R17 BFG A/T's with 60-65% tread left on them?

I will be swapping suspensions with someone and his 35's won't fit on his truck once it is down to stock + leveling kit. So.. he wants to sell them to me. I asked how much he wanted and he asked me what is a fair price? :dunno:

Thanks!

Assuming that really do have 60% tread left...you can't use the last 10%, because they are down to the wear indicators and are not safe to drive...

So at most, you will have 50% tread life left.

If you are not also trading "WHEELS".. who is going to pay for swapping the tires from one set of wheels to the other set of wheels ??? :dunno:

I'm thinking 100 each would be a good fair price... :dunno:

I will eat the cost of swapping the tires to the others wheels...

We are swapping suspensions straight across, my stock + leveling kit for his 6" lift... so I don't mind helping him out on his tires... but I don't really like the look of A/T tires on a lifted truck and the tires would be going on my stock wheels which are 7.5" wide and the BFG site recommends at least an 8" wide wheel for that tire size..

I may just go buy some new tires for me, let him have my current tires (265/70R17.. basically 32x11 Toyo M/T's) to get him by and then he can sell his 35's to recoup some costs of getting whatever new tire he decides to go with... IDK, just kind of tossing some ideas around..

Well personally I agree with you on the looks department. And since you're getting a pretty good deal on the swap I would just get whatever tires you want and go that route.
