I don't see the Express vans on the list. I've had to replace the driver's seatbelt on a few of them, one has had multiple issues. The issue is that they lock up and won't pull off the reel. I wonder if it may be related. I actually filed a complaint with the NHTSA about it.

I think I'd be turning the damn thing off or pulling the fuse. :dunno:
It's a damn shame and it seems this problem is affecting a lot of vehicle manufacturers.

Jeff. The recall on my truck is that the airbags sometimes DON'T deploy in an accident, which is a programming issue and can be fixed with a flash.

The Takata airbag problem is the one where IF the airbags go off, they may shoot shrapnel into people's faces, chests, etc..

It effecting "so many manufacturers" is because GM, Ford, Toyota, etc. don't make the airbags themselves (or most of the other components in the vehicles). They contract that stuff out and most of them use the same airbag supplier that had that manufacturing problem for quite a while.

Got Ya!

That's what I thought was affecting all of them...my mistake.

When I first saw "airbag" and "recall," my first thought was "how the fWONk did my truck have a faulty airbag in it, since it was built after all that crap was uncovered!?" Then, I read the article...

I don't know if mine is on the list because GM's recall website isn't working. Oh, the irony.
