Back in the 60s and 70s, there was a LOT of engine swapping going on. It was everywhere.
Ever heard of putting an Oldsmobile engine into a Chevy truck?

We swapped out quite a few engines back in my high school days.

No, that's not a banana in my pants.
Well my buddy says he has it mounted in. The trans bolted right in place and so did the engine with the custom mounts they made. Now he is still having issues trying to fit headers in there withe the frame rails in the way. He issaid the driveshaft also fit right in with no issues.

I'm too crazy to choose a custom title !!!
Used stock Olds mounts . Just left the whole mounts on motor and sat it in with tranny attached ( I planned on just welding the mounts to the crossmember when I got placed where I wanted it but ......they lined right up with already existing bolt holes !
Not sure which holes .....that was YEARS ago ! LOL!

I did have to cut a small notch out of frame on passengers side for clearence for the stock manifolds . 
Cool to see this old thread back to life, well kinda.
