EcoBoost vs 5.0 F-150 Test Drive

If the Ecoboost is anything like BMWs twin turbo V6 it is going to be easy to make some huge power. Seems very conservative from the factory. I've already seen some of the new Taurus SHOs with just a tune and increased boost fly down the track. Of course there goes the MPG but oh well.

The six speed in mine is no different, it will drop a couple cogs on heavy accels too. It is nice to have it for the fuel economy though! keeps the RPMs down.

Do you have that thing tuned yet?
