yeah that depends on you, its not "needed" but if you get caught driving with it up and playing you might have an issue...

Actually I think with the 3200 a relay setup is needed, thats if its the same as the 4200.

Try just grounding it, if that doesn't work I would do above.

HU is in and all you have to do it put a toggle switch in a line to a ground... its very simple but i still hooked mine to the parking brake.. i didnt have time to go out and buy a toggle switch and it works fine now
