I saw that, been doing some reading lately myself.

If I were in your shoes, I'd be going for at least a level 5 (if you choose FLT, that is). Your truck's a good bit heavier than mine, and when all is said and done, I'm sure you'll be putting out a good bit more power than I will, too.

That's sound advice Dan, I'll have to figure out what I want to do for a stall. Still have a bunch of shit to figure out.

You know that's the one thing about hot rodding that I won't have to read up on. You are always able to find the weak spots.:D
That's sound advice Dan, I'll have to figure out what I want to do for a stall. Still have a bunch of shit to figure out.
I would go with a 2600-2800 stall with the maggie.

I'd definitely call around to Circle D, Yank, PI, and all the other "big" converter companies, and tell them what you're looking to do. Dave at Yank seems like a good guy, and has been nothing but helpful to me thus far.

From everything I've read, I agree with Carl though. With all the torque the Maggie makes, anything bigger than a 3000 would be eliminating some of the usable power.
