Transferring the harness/brackets/random bullshit over today and tonight, hope to get it sitting in the truck by lunchtime tomorrow. Then it's just a matter of remembering where everything goes, and finding all the bolts. It's SO nice being able to work outside, instead of hiding in a garage from the rain.

Everything's going pretty slowly, but reasonably well considering the weather we've had the past week, and the fact that neither my Dad, nor I have ever done an engine swap before.

You didn't label things?

I'm mainly talking about routing the harness underneath, there really isn't a way to label that. :dunno:

Nice progress Dan, they really need to increase the space around the back of these engines. Those rear manifold bolts are a real PITA. Good luck can't wait to see the next update.

Nope there's no way they'll fit in there.

:werd:

They're already off, sitting on the family room floor. Gotta keep the shiny stuff pretty. :jester:

But seriously, there's no way to pull it or put it in with LTs on, they'd be in the way of just about everything. Motor mounts, steering shaft, probably get fucked up on the frame, everything else...
