Kudos to you for getting it done on what I assume is a college kids budget, I've been making some real jack lately but just cant seem to put it all into the truck. I'd like to have somethng to show for all this overtime besides this damn truck. I'll have $2K in the newest LS1 before I ever turn the key and thats prolly not counting springs and cam.....lets see $1300 in motor, then oil pan gasket and valve cover gaskets, plugs, new headers bolts, car water pump, break in dino oil and then mobil 1.....I've been buying crap on my days off, but hell even when the motor is ready to go in I still wont be able to drop it in cause of the trans, I've barely started to put money into that fund....
Did you have to do any mods to the transfer case? I might have asked that already before. I remember someone saying they had to change out a little clip in there or something....

Thanks man. Yeah, it was a bit tight money-wise, but my parents helped out by lending me money for the trans. I was able to pay them back the week before I left for school so that felt GOOD.
As for the T-case, I didn't do anything to it. Billy (budhayes3 on PT) changed the clip just as a precaution recently. I kind of wish I would have just to be safe, but it's been good so far. Worst case scenario, I have to find one at a boneyard for a few hundred bucks.
