Those are good 1st numbers, you'll improve when you find a place that actually is setup to dyno diesel's. Keep it up!

You don't have to be in a 1:1 gear, I've always dyno'd in 2nd because 3rd probably goes somewhere north of 130 mph.

actually.. i take that back... never mind. brains off today. IF YOU are on a dynojet.. it has to be... but on a mustang or dyno dynamics.. it doesnt have to be

Nope all on a dyno jet. It's all calculated. With 3.73's & 255/70 R16 tires in 1:1, to take the engine to red line (6200) would mean somewhere in the 140 mph range.

Edit: then again my numbers are somewhat low, maybe it over compensates for 2nd IDK. But according to a lot of horse power calculators it's reading low. :dunno: In the end it's a tuning tool :)

I will have the video up in like 20 minutes... I did one but I added music to the beginning and failed to read the fact that when you add music it replaces the sound for the entire movie...

So yeah I am still kinda curious but I think that I am right using the Manual mode and locking in the gear of choice and starting off at 1500rpms... Maybe I need to punch it at 1000 rpms sinve the rev limiter is at 3500...
